We had a wicked hail storm a few years ago here in Austin (I got my insurance to pay for a new roof, thank you very much). Tons of hail and 70 mph straight line winds. What really saddened me afterwards were how many dead and badly mauled birds we found. Doves aren't that bright to begin with, but you don't want to see anything so badly banged up.
